Evening of Serbian documentary films in Paris

You know what is so great about Paris ? One of great things anyhow. It is the possibility to get acquainted with other cultures that make a part of that city. There is an American Paris (we talk about on our Montmartre and Montparnasse visits), British Paris, a lot of colonial aspects of the city, etc. So being interested in all of the aspects of the city, wanting to explore all of the pieces of the puzzle, we delve into a bit of Serbian culture and a part of many different diasporas you can find in Paris. There are several Serbian churches in the city, a possibility to study the language and literature on several universities (Sorbonne, INALCO) and a host of places where you can check out Serbian artists.

One of these places is the Serbian cultural center ; in the prime location of the city, right next to the Pompidou center. Situated in a very quaint building, a place where you can check out concerts, panels, movie screenings, and a lot more. This time around, you can partake in a panel discussion that brings a host of young documentary movie makers who deal with very interesting subjects from recent history. Take a look, it might be something you are interested in. Here is the poster and the announcement – while they are in French, the panel is quite likely to be in English. Come one come all.
